Any scrapper from Indiana out there?

Hey guys, are there any scrappers out there from Indiana. I live close to the Ft. Wayne area. Would like to get to know some other scrappers from my area to chat and swap ideas. Thanks

Hi nice to meet you. I just read the Hoosier thread...nice to know there are more of us out there. I just posted under that thread, but anyways.....I live close to Fort wayne.....I am 29..... Been married 10 years to a wonderful husband. I have 3 kids. Two girls ages 9 and 6 and 1 boy age 3. So we are kind of alike 29 and 3 kids. LOL......Oh and by the way my name is Christen. I have been scrapping for about 3 years now and I am so addicted. I am a SAHM, but I do work fulltime at home as a Medical Transcriptionist. So I have my hands full with work and kids, but I love being able to be at home all day. Plus I get to browse all my favorite scap sites while I work during the day....although I should probably say too much sometimes. So how long have you been scrapping ?

I've been with this addiction for almost 4 years now. Did stamping before that and pretty much every other craft out there.

I too am a SAHM with a 9, 3 and 18 month old. When I was working one of my duties was transcription. Been wanting to get back into something I can do from home. Is there alot of need for MT anymore. As I was getting out of the medical field, everybody seemed to be going to the automated systems.

Hi Christen! I saw your post in the Hoosier Thread, too. My name's Colleen and I currently live on the northeast side of Indianapolis. I grew up in Fort Wayne, probably not too far from where you live now. I'm engaged to be married on October 29, no kids yet, but I do have two "furbabies" (cats). I work full-time at Eli Lilly and Company as a process control engineer (aka, glorified computer programmer). I've been scrapbooking for about 4 years now, and I enjoy other crafts as well.

I love being able to be at home and work too (money wise ya know, who really enjoys work? LOL). As far as the need for MTs...i don't really know....I know my company is hiring a lot of times. It is strictly internet based and they are located out of Dubque Iowa. I just download work from them and send back through an FTP and we all comunicate through e-mail and messenging. Pretty simple. I have worked there for 4-1/2 years now and I still have never met my boss....LOL...Cool huh.. I get benefits, paid holidays and vacations, etc. ...it is so nice being able to be home with the kids.

that sounds pretty cool.. I may have to look into it. I would love something from home. Child care is just way too much.

Hi, Kay from Indiana here. I live in Yorktown, just outside of Muncie. (about an hour from Ft. Wayne). I'm 44, married going on 26 years, have 1 daughter who is a senior this year. I also have a retired K9 German Shephard (Bart), cat (Sassi), love bird (Scooter) and another cat, Calli who adopted us just recently. Scrapped for a couple of years then lost all my stuff to a house fire. Started again in October when I mentioned to Cheryl (wildlifebio) that I really wanted to get back into scraping and would she be interested - well now she's my scrappin' buddy.

Hi Kay nice to meet ya....I also have a german shephard, but he is only 1-1/2 years old and boy is he a handful. The energy he has is unbelievable.

I have a friend who lives in Ft Wayne who is so all into scrapping to. She just hasn't found her way here
