Throwbackmama
Hi all! My name is Pam, I've been scrapping since 1997 off and on and I feel like I am just starting to get into a groove and get my own style.
I live in Northern Minnesota, which puts me in a unique situation...I don't have a Michaels, or a LSS, or a Hobby Lobby. We do have a Ben Franklin in town with a modest scrapbook selection, and a Pamida with a decent selection as well...neither ever has 40% off coupons and rarely clearance...so I am a spendy scrapper! We do have a JoAnn's 50ish miles away..and I get there sometimes, but their particular scrapbook section is sad...I do go to JA online when I can snag free shipping...I like heavy paper packs!
I do have an awesome local SU! demonstrator, so she keeps me in ink, stamps and cardstock...but I am a printed paper and sticker addict. I like cute pages that go together really fast...when I sit down to scrap I get about 10 pages done at a time...they may not be perfect...but I love them. I am instant gratification...I don't like to spend too long on any one lo.
More about me...I'm a 30ish pastor's wife with four sons, 8,5,3 and 11 months. I never get to use pink on my pages...but I do have two nieces and a Goddaughter!
I love to stamp mostly for cardmaking. I'm way too impatient to use or mount alphabet stamps so I have been doing a lot of headlines on my computer...I don't have a fancy printer, but I am enjoying the results.
My favorite mag is Simple scrapbooks, I love the simple, uncluttered, yet interesting style they have.
I love looking at other people's books!
