Using 24 wallet-sized in layout HELP!

I have 24 or more wallet-sized photos of my daughter in all her dance costumes for 13 years. Can anybody offer any advice on a layout using most or all of them on 1 or 2-page layout?
The only 2 ideas I had was for "puzzle pieces", but the colluzzel (sp?) I have is too small and will cut off most of the pictures.
The other idea I had was to make extra large fonts of her name and try to make the pictures fit within the name. But "MEGAN" doesn't work, nor does the word, "DANCE" due to the skinny parts of the "A, N, C, & E".
I've searched for "wallet layout" and haven't found anything that I'm trying to do.
Does anybody have any suggestions?

I just bought Colorbok paper at joanns that has 16 squares on it(I got 2 pages). I am also using wallet size pictures of my daughter. The one I got has shades of pink but I think it comes in other colors. HTH

Could you make a mosaic look, filling up the whole two pages? You could leave one section open for title/journaling. (I love mosaic, so am always looking for pictures that fit it!).

You can make a sort of life-line on 2 pages. I hope I can explain what I mean, because I don't have a picture.
You make 2 horizontal lines with paper, ribbon or fiber. One on top of de LO's en one down. Than you mark the years on the lines (you can wright them down or use metal embellishments with years on it or whatever you can imagine) and place the pictures that belong to the years and journal something at each year.

I think it would be cute to use a square cutter and then line up the pictures in a grid like fashion...I have a page that I did this...bu with slightly larger pictures...it can look really cute and needs very little embellishment!

I like the timeline idea! That would be really cute!

can you get 12 to page? maybe cut 3x4 blocks of assorted colors of cardstock or pp to make a patchwork type background. anc then center one photo in each block? It would be really simple, but I think that is best when there are lots of photos.

Maybe you could enlarge a few of you favorites to be the focus of the page then use the rest in a small accordian type book to include on the page

Also, I saw a nice layout on DIY scrapbooking show. They took a large photo (could be current dance photo, or favorite) and they put a "wreath" around it collaging die cuts/photos whatever you want. Myabe you could do that on a 2 page layout? Whatever you choose, good luck!!

I had a ton of pictures of my dd's ultrasounds. I turned them into a quilt block layout & it looks really adorable. I used real ribbon, and buttons with thread to tie them off...

I did a lo of my cousin of her 12 years of ballet. I used pictures I had taken of her at every performance I went to, include the one when she was 3. What I did was string twine across the two pages. Then I cut the pictures into a tutu shape, a hat (she was wearing a hat in the pic), a ballet shoe, I tried a leotard shape (came out looking like a tank top). I then used mini clothes pins to attach them to the twine, so it looked like clothing all strung up. It turned out so adorable! The shapes I used were simple enough to cut around the pictures, but you were still able to tell what the shape was supposed to be. I colored all the clothes pins various shades of pink. I wish I had pictures of it. It turned out so adorable. She has it framed in her college dorm now.

Colorblock them. You can get a Ton of pis in that way. They would look classy too!

I've seen one LO where they made it look like a quilt. Every other square was a picture. the rest of the squares were different PP which were embellished with different things. It was very cute!

Oh...I think I have enough wallets to do both! I'll give them both a try!

Can you post when you get them done? I'd love to see them esp. since I have at least that many pics of my son that I'll have to scrap somehow!

Maybe outline both 12x12 pages around all four sides, then enlarge a few for the middle?

Wow...I'm so confused now that I have so many new ideas! I could do the "timeline" thing around the outside of all 4 sides.
Jen~ I would LOVE to be able to post my album. I have about 80 pages but I don't have access to a scanner and/or digital cam currently.
I'm meeting a bunch of SB.com girls next week. I'm going to see if I can hire someone to take on this task for me. In the meantime, I "searched" this site for "Colorblock" and found all kinds of neat layout ideas.
I just may have to look for all her school pictures in wallet-sized and do a different layout with all these ideas.
