If you look in my gallery, I have lots of them! I use the actual puzzle piece (I think you have to for swaps...you might want to check with the hostess). I use the childs size ages 2-5. I found mine at Walgreens but have seen them at Walmart and others have mentioned Dollar General and Dollar Tree. The childs size that I use are about 2-3 inches wide.
Also, I do beleive that Coluzzle makes a puzzle template.
when you use actual puzzle pieces, how do you make it acid-free? Do you spray them first and then alter them?
Cause after a couple of years, the acidity of the puzzle piece would seep through the materials used to cover them, right?
Clueless here!!
I just bought some blue ones at Joanns, they have letters on them and are very cute. They were on clearance when I bought them, I have not seem anywhere else though.

Unfortunately, I have never been that concerned about being totally AF that I worried about it. I guess they should be sprayed first, but I doubt anyone has been doing that. I haven't. At the least I would say if you are laying them partially over a photo they should be backed so they are not in direct contact. Spraying couldn't hurt though.
Michaels sells puzzle punches in at least 2 sizes. EK Success Paper Shapers has one, too, http://store.scrapbook.com/ek-pspz01.html , although I'm not a big fan of it because the edges don't line up perfectly, just close.
I have a Coluzzle puzzle template, which has 12 pieces to form an 8x10 puzzle. Any of the individual pieces makes a great puzzle piece for embellishing. (Just one of the many reasons I'm a Coluzzle fan!)
