Where do I find....

acid free transparencies?

I want to use these as an overlay on one of my LO's and the only ones I can find are at the local office supply store. The problem there is that the packages they come in DO NOT tell me what they are made of! So I have no idea if they are photo safe or not. Can anyone tell me if any of the office supply brands are acid free?

I think those are the kind most people generally use. I was told once (don't know how true it is, though) that you really only need to make sure paper products are a/f and l/f.

I never even thought to check about them being acid free. I just bought some at Kmart and used them.

I haven't checked either, but I don't use them much. Is there a phone number on the package? You may try calling their customer serve line. Good luck. Jaime

You can also do a yahoo or google search. A few placed popped up there too...

Thanks, I may try to find a phone number to call next time I'm at Office Max.
I figured that I have worked so hard to remove all my photos from those BAD albums with the plastic inserts that I should take care not to put something that will destroy my photos on top of them.

I tried googling and didn't come across any... I will try Yahoo.

Joanns and Micheals both had them in the scrapbook section..I bought some they were by the vellum packets and card supplies

Grafix makes an acid free product that is made of polyester either for laser or inkjet printer. I know at least one of the office brands do contain PVC. Grafix's product come both with adhesive and without.
