Another question about Sizzix machines

Hi

I am finally going to purchase a die cutting system and was wondering if the largest size alphabets for the sidekick machine is 5/8"? I would like to be able to make titles, but 5/8" is a little small. If that is the largest size font for the sidekick, what do most of you use your sidekick for?

All I have seen are the 5/8. I use mine in the regular sizzix though. There are shape dies for the sidekick so I guess everyone who doesn't have an alphabet uses those.

The newer sizzlits (ex. Funky Brush, Wet paint, etc.) are bigger letters than the older 5/8 inch letters (ex. Girls are weird, classic, script etc)

I have the funky brush, wet paint and a few other of the newer sizzlits....the actual letters once cut measures 1 1/2 inch tall. I like the bigger letters too....I rarely use the older ones that I have now!

BTW....you can use the newer ones in the sidekick too!

I have the funky Brush Sizzlits set and they are about an inch big.

I used them on a Beach Journal box thats in my gallery

I have the Funky Brush also... what I loved so much when I bought that set was that it that the letters are bigger than most of the other sets. Here is a LO from my gallery:

i have girls are weird and rat-a-tat and love using them for titles, accents, what have you. when i can afford it, i plan on getting a few others, but i like the size. g.a.w. has a shadow, so if you do the center and a title mat in one color and the shadow in another it looks really great.

AWWA that LO is so sweet I love it... Roxy too sweet very nice too....
Im gonna have to save up for one of those they look like they come in really handy!

I have the girls are weird, script and funky brush. I put a fair bit on my page, so for titles longer than a word or two, I still usually go for girls are weird or script. 5/8" sounds small, but definitely isn't too small for titles. Here's a layout I did with the girls are weird font:

The pages are 6x6, but obviously the distance from the left to the right is 12", so it gives you an idea of what a title can look with with girls are weird.

I also have the Girls are Weird set, and I don't think that it is too small for titles either. I love both sets!
