Chicago Scrapbook Expo April 22/23..Anyone Going?

Hey there. I plan on going the 23 (the Saturday most likely). I will take 2 SEI classes probably. Is anyone else going to the expo??

That's my problem with all the "Chicago" gathering. They aren't actually in Chicago and since I rarely drive I usually can't get to them Trying to get to it on Metra is probably going to be difficult.

It wasn't to bad getting to it last year. Apart from me writing the directions down wrong and I needed to make a right instead of a left! ahah ITS SOOO EASYYY TO FIND Kathy!!

I went with my SIL last year and had tons of fun. The class I took was great to. I definately have to remember to take more money this year though!! eheh.

There are vendors. A whole floor of them. With free Make n Takes, displays, demos, etc. The crops are later at night (well were last year) and the classes are all during the day from like 11 to 5.

How much does it cost to register? It wouldnt happen to be *free* would it!?? I will check out that site too...

It is like 5 to 8 dollars I think to register. Not to bad. You dont have to take classes. They range from 15 +

I would love to take my daughter. I took her last year to one in Ft Wayne. In and she loved it. We too a BOM class and learned so much.

Does anyone have the list of classes they are offering? I can't seem to get that page to come up from their website.

Hey Melissa..if you want to see the classes..click on the one that is currently going on. Like...Orange County, Ca I think.

The classes might be slightly different but pretty much the same

ooh.. maybe i'll ask my brother to go for me again. hahaha. last time he called me from the expo and asked me of --- was a good prices for --- and what --- was and how much --- should cost and do i need ---... it was pretty funny... should i do it to him again?

Did you write the directions wrong or did mapquest give you the wrong directions I know they gave us the wrong directions from where we were coming from last year to the expo.

I didn't think I wrote them down wrong. I double checked and everything. And I guess I did. Cuz I wrote right and was supposed to go left LOL. Butttt we asked a garbage man LOLOL. This year if its wrong at least we know to go left.
