Don't worry about your dream. I have SO many weird dreams that don't make ANY sence at all about scrapbooking and other stuff that I have HAD to learn not to STRESS about them cause it was JUST a dream. It was definitely a Nightmare though!!! I am SURE that would never happen to you!!! I will be SO responsible if it does though...lol.. just cause I took the time to post about this...lol..

I always dream about scrapbooking. Probably because I do it until the wee hours in the morning (after ds and dh are sleeping) so it is fresh on my brain as I drift off to sleep. Amazingly I have come up with some cool layout ideas in my dreams.

I'm sure all this dreaming of scrapbooking is a sign of SOMEthing!!
Here's my non-expert dream analysis:

BeachScrapper--probably a concern for preserving your scrapbooks (or not preserving them enought) and keeping the pics save archivally had been heavy on your mind prior to this dream!

LakeshoreLady--probably you are an intense scrapper who really puts "herself" (and maybe parts of others lol) into her scrapbooks!

Ok, not exactly a nightmare, but I knew I'd been spending too much time playing computer games and scrapping last summer (I was a teacher with part of my summer off) when I dreamed I was a character in the game. (Diablo, for those of you who are gamers.)

In the dream, like in the game, I had to go running around killing all the monsters. Now, usually they give you things like coins or weapons or armor when you kill things. Instead, in my dream, I was getting eyelets (looked a lot like the coins) SB tools (like the weapons) and the armor became paper, tags, stickers, and other embellishments. I was so disappointed when I woke up because I had gathered a HUGE COLLECTION during the dream!

I've never had nightmares like that, dreampt about layouts etc. As for the nail clippings, my dd is sitting here looking at me thinking I'm nuts. The only other thing that would be disgusting would be tummy button fluff, ewwwww

Hey TimeWrinkler ~ You are not far off!

I taught my first scrapbook/craft class today. I brought my albums for ideas and to show as samples of my work. (I do custom crafts for clients and am just getting into the teaching aspect.) I was probably stressing over my books being passed around a table full of food and drinks! EEK! Anyway, the workshop was a huge success and I decide to NOT pass my books around. Instead, I waited until someone asked me and I flipped through two albums showing her the specific techniques she wanted to see. She is a CM rep and wants me to teach her and a few of her friends how to stamp and emboss.

I told my DH about the toenail thing (LMAO the entire time) and he just looked at me with a blank stare. Guess it's a scrappin' thing.

At breakfast this morning, I told my DH about my nightmare last night. He asked me about it, so I told him. He asked, "And that's a nightmare????" with a smile.

Maybe y'all will have more sympathy.

In my dream last night, I was at a clothing store with my 4 YO DD and I had a newly finished scrapbook with me. (No idea why!) Someone asked me about it, so I was showing her. She spilled milk on it!!!

When she was cleaning it up and I was helping DD with something, we discovered two 8x10 pictures had holes eaten in them!

This album was HUGE and FILLED with TONS of embellishments and really cool stuff! (It was in my dream, remember? LOL)

Anyway, to the real nightmare part...

DD & I leave the store with my album that needs some repairs and we are invited into a different store and in the hustle and bustle, my album is left behind. I couldn't get back to it!!!! A series of events occur in my dream and when I finally get back to my album, it is nearly empty with only my pictures in the page protectors and it is in shambles...a complete and utter MESS!

That is when my alarm went off.

I haven't decided which is worse...LOL...the fact that I was sad when I woke up about something that never happened or the fact that I even was dreaming about a scrapbook like that! LOL Anyone else had a 'scrapbook nightmare'???

I don't know if this was just a nightmare or a WEIRD dream, but I've been signing up for so many swaps, and thinking about them while trying to fall asleep. One night I dreamt that I received a package from a fellow swapper with FINGER/TOE NAIL CLIPPINGS and a note that said I could use them in a shaker box!!!

I was having a really rotten day at work and your statement about the nail clippings has caused me to just laugh out loud. I do mean LOUD! To the point to where everyone stopped what they were doing and turned around to see if I was ok.

That was, no IS, absolutely hillarious!!!!! I hope I have no nightmares or dreams like a few of you folks. I had better stop laughing, 'cause we know what "they" say. And I am just embarking on this wonderful journey of scrapbooking. There is no telling what dreams/nightmares I might end up having one of these days.

I am so happy that I found this group.

Thanks so much for cheering me up and helping me to remember that life is so much more than "a job".

I'm too tired to have nightmares--I'm either at the computer or working on a lo til I can't keep my eyes open!

The toe nail shaker box cracked me up, too!!
I almost woke up my daughter!
Then the hair for fibers cracked me up again!
OK I'm not the only one who falls asleep dreaming of how things could match! I've actually gotten out of bed and wrote journaling thoughts and sketched ideas so I wouldn't think they were all a dream!

Maybe your dream is telling you you need REALLY good page protectors?!?
OR it's just reminding you how precious your scrappbooking is to you and one day will be to your daughter!!!!!

I dreamed once I was in scrapbook heaven...but thats it.

I read about this on another thread and had to search and find out about the toe nail shaker box, THANK GOODNESS I find that this was your dream... I was about to barf! I thought wow, now we Organic Scrappers!!!!
