Krylon-Preserve It!

I LOVE Krylon Preserve It!! It's a digital photo & paper protectant. It claims to double the life of digital prints. That is certainly a plus, but I also love it because it's matte and gives the photos a beautiful finish. It's a bonus for me because I live in an area where photo paper is hard to find, so I often can only find glossy and I HATE glossy prints. I even used it on a bunch of photos I ordered online and forgot to select "matte finish". This stuff is a must. Be warned, it does have a POWERFUL (yucky) smell and you can not spray too close to photo or it can turn white/grey.

I use this stuff a LOT, in fact I need to buy some more.

I did the spray too close on purpose one time, trying to get the white effect on a beach layout I was doing and it came out beautiful.

just curious on how pricey it is??? and where do you get it???

HillaryMarie, Thanks for sharing about the cool effect of close spraying, now I wish I would have saved the pictures I thought I had "ruined"! I am going to try that right away. Michael's carries it as do a lot of LSSs.

you welcome! it makes a really neat effect on the layout, it put the "finishing touch" on the layout i was doing of the pictures of the beach i had from biloxi when i went to visit my hubby at keesler afb. in fact i have a picture of it if you want to see.

HillaryMarie, not trying to be a "stick in the mud" but you can get banned for posting a link to "that" site or any other scrapbook site that sells scrapping products - just thought I'd give you a heads up on that! As you can see they even censor the name in posts, so that should speak volumes, lol!

Thanks for all the info for the Krylon! too bad I don't have a HL or M's anywhere close to me but it sounds really neat so the next time I get to go shopping in a big city I'll look for it!
