My desktop computer..that the scanner is hooked up to..is Sooo messed up right now. It hadrly lets you on the internet, and when it does...you are so bombarded by pop ups that the whole system freezes and you have to turn off the computer!! sooo I can't upload any LO's til this is fixed!! Thank goodness for my lap-top!
Anyone know how to fix it?

Yep.

Go to Start, Run, and type "msconfig" without the quotes. Go to the Startup tab....uncheck anything that looks like "junk". Don't worry about making a mistake - if you uncheck something, and discover that you need it, you can check it again.

Reboot. If you can get connected to the Internet, and stay there, download Ad Aware, update it, and do a full system scan.

If you want to post a list of what's in your startup tab, I can probably tell you what you can whack.

Yup Adaware is fabulous. I too use spybot if I feel adaware hasn't gotten everything.
