since i just started scraping ive done one hole album for my sisters

and im working on 3 album at the moment .one for my oldest dd ,one for my 2 year old and one for my youngest ,then i have to do one for my 10 year old and the albums are all about the first year

HOLY COW I HAVE ALOT OF SCRAPING TO DO

I have five albums completely full and enough layouts to fill probably three more, maybe four more. I've been scrapping for two years so I'd say about four albums a year!

I have 7 completed albums and 4 in progress. I have 2 ready for future projects. I get most of my scrapping done in the winter.

I'm around 20 finished. And I have a few in the process.

I'm still trying to get my first album done, which is for my dd's wedding, last June! This was the event that really got me into scrapping since she wanted to do something different for her guest book! I have to get it finished before the end of this month so they can have it for their anniversary!!!

I have all the pictures moved out of my 'magnetic' album I did our cruise pictures in, so now just have to add journaling and a few embellishments and that will be album no. 2!

I have two albums completely done. The first was a gift to my best friend who was moving away. I then took about a four year break from scrapbooking, and then completed an album of my niece. I gave it to my sister and BIL for Christmas this past year. I am almost done with the album of DH and I in college. I have about fifty 2x12 LO's done, and need to finish just a few more. I've also done quite a few LO's of last year. Oh yeah, I also did an accordian album for my mom for Mother's Day. It's in my gallery if you want to see it.

I'm working on chronological albums. I've got one completed each for 1992 - 2000, 2 for 2001 and I'm on 2002. I've also made 1 themed baby album for my cousin and was just informed yesterday that I have 2 wedding albums to make, 1 each for my aunt and my sister.

I started scrapping just before my wedding 3 years ago. My albums so far are:

2 wedding albums (1 done, 1 almost done)
one for 02-03 (almost done)
two for 03-04 (both done)
one for 04-05 (currently working on)
BOM (always in progress)
dh's family pic's (barely started)
gift album for my brother and his wife (done)
one for my hs/college pics (working on)

So, I guess that means I have 4 complete and I'm working on 6. Yikes! And we just had our 3rd anniversary so it's time to start another album already (I start the new yearly ones with our anniversary celebrations.)

I've been sbing for just over a year. Here's what I've done...

i've been scrapping for about 1 year...i've completed 2 albums (son's 1 year) and mil/fil 50th wedding anniversary. currently i'm working on family chronologically from this year to past.

I have no idea! I have so many albums that are works in progress. Some are finished, but I'm working on part II or in some cases III. I don't scrap in any particular order. I suppose one of these days I'll have to sit down and see just what I have.

I complete about 4 chronological albums ber year with just over 50 pages per album.

I also have various projects in the works. I have 6X6 for fil for father's day. I also have a bom and a book of my dh from yournger days and my ds and dd each have an album. I have 3 albums for my ds first year! Ihave completed a few other 6X6 albums as gifts!

i am currently working on my us keepsakes album. i've finished one mini book, done an accordion and two paper bag books this year. as i've just started the real thing also, i can't answer how many i will do a year. i'm definitely planning on doing one about my trip to norway, then about my summer job and probably one about another trip.

I do an "album" for both of my boys every year. Thing is each "album" usually has three volumes! There's probably 25-30 pages per album.

So in '04, this is what I did:

3 albums for #1 Son (12 x 12)
3 albums for #2 Son (12 x 12)
2 gift albums for sister (12 x 12)
4 gift albums for friends (6 x 6)
1 album for a teacher (6 x 6)
1 album for MIL (6 x 6)

1. how many albums have you done ?? well my wedding album is pretty much done..might add some stuff to it. my oldest's sons album is getting full so need to declare that done soon. My family album needs to go to book 2

2 how many albums a year do you do ? no clue

I have only one main one done--it's 103 pages though..

and that's in 4 years time...

I'm a ways behind... i've been doing this on and off for almost 2 years... I've completed my DS's 2002 and 2003 albums and am up to October of 2004... 2002 had 92 12 x 12 pages. 2003 had 90 and I am on page 84 in 2004.

I just got back 496 pix to scrap from Jan. 1 - May 3, 2005 so i need to get moving. (They're for his '05 album and a separate Disney album)
I started my BG contest album yesterday, and have been editing pix and stuff for that...
I have finished 4 baby albums for shower gifts and have 3 more in progress (the moms aren't due until October, November and December so i can slack on these guys)
I guess i better get off the 'puter and down to scrappyland!

Thank you for posting this- it was something I was thinking about the other day. I guess I'm one of those people who always has more albums in progress and in the planning stages than completed albums.

I tend to start new albums on my birthdays, but I always have to add new additions in between them. But half of those scrapbooks are from my beginnings when I whipped out pages in a over-simplified fashion. Now I consider myself a more seasoned scrapbooker, so it takes me a while to finish a layout. My pages are always getting better. Besides those albums for myself of just my life, I've done
-three volumes for my mom's life,
-three mini albums for friend's Christmas presents,
-began one of my family (which I probably won't finish),
-a mini book of my goals (which I probably won't finish),
-a mini album for my mom's friend's baby shower, and
-I am starting one for my friend and her husband (which I could actually work on if she gave me the info I need!)
-A paper bag album I gave to a co-worker to put her own pictures in (I don't think she'll use it but I thought of her anyways)
I plan on starting a new album for my graduation trip, and/or family vacation this year (the first REAL vacation we've had for YEARS!!!) So now that I have read this message, I dont' feel bad for having up to 4 volumes for each year of my life. Thanks for the encouragement!

I think I am up to about 40.. yikes.. a lot I give as gifts.. but I have quite a collection..

woo thats awesome i see i have to scrap more ,its great to see how you ladys scrap almost everything ,
like you do a album for birthdays and so on ,i would never have thought of that

but do you have an album for each year for you kids fjufff then i have alot of work ahead of me hihihi

Marygail's post reminded me...I also have a 6x6 Christmas album that I update yearly. Most of my Christmas pics go in the yearly albums, but I save a pic or two to put in a long-term Christmas album.

I think its relative, for me. My first album in the af/lf way was DS's first year album, and that has about 45 double sided pages in it (90 total) and its in ONE album, b/c I was strictly CM then.

Over the years, my pages have gotten lumpier. And after CKU last year, i finished them a lot quicker. So now, I have 8 12x12 done, but the recent ones only have about 20-25 page protectors in them, but sit about 2.5-3" thick at the posts. I have 5 more 8x8 or 6x6 smaller albums done, and have completed 1 12x12, 2 8.5x11, and 4 6x6 gift albums. I have open ones pending in 12x12 and 8.5x11 for each year from 2002 to the present. a very small BOM started, and our honeymoon album in very infant stages.

I am a random scrapper, whatever pix is inspiring me at the time, so don't have any regular numbers per year. But this past year has seen my productiveness increase significantly. I do a minimum of about 4 12x12 LO's a week, but often, more.

2 how many albums a year do you do ? right now I'm working on 3, this year, my grandmother, and my baby album.

Since I have started I have not completed an album yet... However I am close to completing the second album I started because it is a fathers day album for my dd dad... so far I have 30 pages done and only 10 more to go...
