I WAS a herma tab user but discovered that they don't hold when LO's are put on display. They slowly started falling apart. So I started using the mono glue in the green and white bottle (auqa glue doesn't hold worth beens IMO)...this stuff is killer and VERY permanent, never had a page fall apart AND it smells good...LOL. But is does get sticky on your fingers. The cool thing is it has a two tips and the wide tip works beautifully for for glueing photo's and mat etc...Geeze you would think I was a spokes person....LOL.
Oh and I do use glue dots two but cannot live without my tacky tape. Have found that some of my ribbon knots have fallen off with glue dots. Never with the tacky tape.
Hmmm... I haven't ever used mono glue, might have to try it! I like the Scotch tape runner, but I use it up to fast!! I like the glue dots, they def have their place.
I love the dotto, but it gums up on me. So now I am love with the tabs along with glue dots and the mono glue. Just wish I had more money for my green and white bottles
other: click n stick clear tabs. they're sooo much easier than vario/hermafix cause they're clear and no refilling is necessary. AND no little blue tabs like other squares!
I use the click tabs also but I don't like the clear, they are more expensive and you don't get as many!! I also LOVE my 1 inch glue lines!! I use them on EVERYTHING!! And Xyron... can't live w/out the Xyrons!!
Xyron! I bought a Cheetah the other day for things that won't go thru the machines and I love it. I found one glue stick that actually sticks for little things here and there. And glue dots are good.
I almost always use double-sided tape for everything. But for really small items I have some ZIG glue pens. And I just bought a Xyron 250 this week, so I'm pretty excited to use that now.
In order of quantity used: CM tape runners, zig 2 way glue stick, Xyron, zig 2 way glue pen, 3m double sided tape, herma glue stick, 3m liquid/gel glue, zots, sticky dots. It all just depends on what I want to stick down.
I love Zots adhesive dots!! Also use a glue stick now and then...Avery Permanent is the only kind thus far that I have found that stands the test of time!!
I use tobo permantent and I also have the xyron machine. I like the xyron except for the fact that I always seem to have extra adhesive on everything. I did buy the eraser and that seems to help somewhat.
I too am a big fan of Tombo permanent - I never saw a use for me to use the temporary - it's either glued or not -- right? and I've used the red one from Wal Mart - I think Duck brand - even says permanent, but falls apart - especially a problem on cards!!!
And I LOVE pop dots - not just the glue dots -- and for buttons I use the Magic Scraps glue
