Sxrapping Dilema

OK guys I need some help.
I had my LSS order me the MiMi lg wheeled tote and tool tote. WELLthey took forever and I got a nice HEAVY DUTY luggage set at a store in the mall- it has a HUGE rolling case (big enough to put my 10 yr old inside!!), and two rolling cases in gradutated sizes AND a cute bag just perfect for my tools.
And did I mention it was $69.99 for the WHOLE SET! and I got lime green!
So now I obviously dont want to pay for the MiMi stuff- I am certain someone else would buy it.............what do you think?

With your LSS. It may not be their fault. Some companies take FOREVER to ship orders. I special ordered 2 albums back in Nov. and my LSS placed the order with the company a few days later and they (the company) didn't ship it until the beginning of April! The owner said that a lot of people don't understand how long it takes for some companies to ship orders. Mine being proof. I would talk to them and explain the situation. Maybe they know someone who wants to purchase it? If you don't buy it then the next time he/she may not be willing to special order an item for you unless you pay for it up front. It may also be an item that they may find will sell in a flash. Like I said talk with them.

I can understand from both sides of the situation. Owning a store myself (not a LSS) I know that we aren't able to return anything to our suppliers if we special order something for a customer and they decide they don't want it for whatever reason we are stuck with it until we can sell it and you never know when that will be and so the money is tied up in that product. That's why a lot of stores require a certain percent down if you special order an item. Also, if you put money down for it you are more likely to finish paying for it because you don't want to lose the money.

I wasnt so upset with the LSS except for the fact tht when I was there 2 weeks ago and asked about it, they didnt want to talk to me about it. LOL
I am just going to go talk to them tomorrow. I suppose if I have to i can return the luggage set (whaaaa) and buy the totes.

Well that's different if they didn't want to talk about it. I would have been upset if they didn't want to talk about it. Especially if it has been a while since it was ordered.

Maybe they forgot to order it, lol!! That kind of stuff happens to me all the time! I would talk to them for sure, you might just be off the hook! Amy
