My Mom passed away July 2002. I started some albums for my sister, our two girls and myself. Every page has a picture of our Mom, some of her alone and others with family. Every page will have a quote on it and that is when it gets hard. Those darn quotes bring all those emotions right to the surface. They all remind me so of Mom. My sis is helping me, she is pushing to get these albums done in honor of our moms birthday, July 3. The albums have 125 pictures in them I have my work cut out for me. Is there a thread with quotes or sites for quotes? Can someone help me with links to quote sites? Thanks so much for you help.

Check the resource section here on this site. They have quite a few.
My grandmother passed away on July 4th years ago when I was 14. It still hurts today when all the festivities are going on and my grandma isn't here.

myarrows, i'm sorry to hear of your loss. The Quotes section on this site is ok, but my favorite online quote sources are Quoteland and Quotegarden. There are two books I love the quotes from -- Random Acts of Kindness and The Book of Positive Quotations by John Cook. They're just general inspirational books, but the quotes are also wonderful for writing about loved ones. hope these help. i'm not good at comforting others, but i prayed that you will find strength, comfort, and healing in your mom's albums.

You are so sweet. I do okay but man seeing her and all of us. She was loved by everyone. And than matching these quotes to her and the picture has brought many tears this afternoon.

So sorry for your loss...I lost my brother in november of 2002 so I understand how hard it is to do memorials...I did a LO of my brother and needeed quotes so I did a general search for qoutes and there are some really good sites that you can find numerous quotes. I hope that this is healing for you cause it was for me. Best of luck to you.
