Need some ideas or suggestions

I'd like to start using tags in my LO's. Is there a brand of brads that lay really flat? Otherwise, what could I use to create the look of a brad or eyelet without using them? Also, for those who use these a lot, do they damage the pages at all? TIA

scrapdawg, as long as you stand your book UP to store it and don't lay it flat, the brads won't dent or puncture other pages (mine haven't yet anyway). the worst damage i've had are: 1) brads getting catching onto another LO as i slide the page in -- i stuck tape on the back to solve that and 2) breaking my paper piercer because i use brads so much!

i have Making Memories brads that are officially safe for scrapbooking, but they are slightly dimensional.

you can get brad/rivet/eyelet look stickers (KI Memories' alphabet sticker sheet has some sticker elements) but i don't think they look quite the same.

I've made rings and squares to go around the hole in the tag, instead of using brads or eyelets. I use them also but try to have some variety. Using the little brads might be more appealing to you.

I like the flat plastic nail heads...in fact big lots has been carrying them for awhile now...for 49 cents! WOW...I still see them in my LSS for $2.99 a pack...I also like the Mm mini brads...you might want to also thing of using ribbon or fibers for your tags...it is flat
