Need a little help!!!!

I wanted to find out how you post a picture in your signature. I found where to do it in MY HOME but how do you get the picture small enough for it to accept it.

Things that I have tried!!!
loading a pic from my digital camera (way too big)
saving the pic as a jpeg on photoshop (still too big)
scanning the pic and saving as a small file (still too big!!)

I am stumped and I appreciate any suggestions!!!!

When you save as a jpeg on photoshop a little window pops up after you hit save that says Jpeg Options. In that box there's image options with a little slidy-scale thing. I find if you set it to around 5 (medium) then it will usually be small enough for uploading pics here. If not, then set it a little lower.

If that doesn't work you can go to Image-Image Size and set the resolution lower and that will make your pic smaller. But be sure to save this seperatly from the one you want to print because you want to print a pic at the highest resolution.
