Tattoo Gift Idea

Hi!
What do you think of this for an idea?
A lady at my work has a tattoo of a plumeria on her ankle and she let me take some pictures of it. She got in Hawaii and she is home-sick to go back there someday. I thought it might be a cool idea to scrapbook the pictures I took of her tattoo and then frame it for her kind of like a reminder of that trip she took. Does this sound like a good idea? My mom thought it was wierd. Let me know! Thanks!

I don't think it is wierd - maybe because I have a tattoo also. My mother wouldn't approve - but she didn't talk to me for a week after I did it!!

I say go for it - I think you could do some amazing things with your pictures.

I don't think it's weird either. Two years ago 2 of my best friends and I all went and got piercings (I got my nose pierced). We took lots of pictures over the next couple of days. I haven't done anything with them yet, but I definitely will. I think that you could do something really great with the pictures and that she would really appreciate the gift.

DO IT!!!! I think it is an awesome idea and not weird at all!!!!!! Besides being a scrapper I am also a tattoo artist (I've been keeping that hobby in the closet!) But I've been wanting to do some LO's of my own tattoos and my DH's. I think it is awesome and just another form of art and I defenitiely want to see the LO if you do it!!!!

I don't think it is weired either. I have 3 tattoo's and they are all important to me. Maybe in the future I should do a page about them too. That way when I am old and can't remember why I have them my kids can read about it.....lol.

I think its a really great idea. I don't have a tattoo yet because I can't design one that is meaningful enough, so I'm sure that hers is really important to her. Good luck, and please post your lo when you're finished!

Thanks for the encouragement! I am almost done with the layout now. I think it turned out all right. I will take a pic and post it soon.

I don't think it's weird either....looking forward to seeing the finished LO!
