Those of you who use the Cutterpede...

Where do you guys get your replacement blades? My Wal-Mart carries the cutter but not the blades so I'm not sure if I want to buy it or not. Does anyone have a place where they get the blades really cheap?? How often do you guys normally change your blades? Thanks for your help!

I just saw the cutterpede blades at AC Moore yesterday (and they had different blades for different cutting edges!) .... don't know if you have one of those close by - I have to drive 45 minutes to KNoxville!

I found them at a local scrapbook store for $2.99. Just now did a google search for 'cutterpede blades' and found lots of sites for ordering them for that price. Here's one:

I'm pretty sure my walmart has the replacement blades, but I'll have to check next time!

I picked mine up at my LSS. My walmart doesn't carry the blades either.

I've only seen them at my LSS. I'm tempted to pick one up though, heard it cuts much straighter than my Fiskars. Even having to order replacement blades would be worth not ruining my paper and photos like I do with my Fiskars cutter, that thing has me soooo PO'd!!

I think I've decided that the Cutterpede is the cutter I want (I have a Fiskars now) but I wasn't sure about the blades. AC Moore is about 45 min. away from me but if I don't have to pay shipping charges it might be worth it to drive over there. I can just go stock up when they run them on sale! I'm kinda suprised Wal-Mart doesn't have them since they carry the cutterpede. Maybe they'll eventually get them in! Thanks everyone for the info!!

Joann Fabric has them and they are priced really cheap...plus you can use a 40%off coupon on them too...

I have had my cutterpede a year now and have not replaced the blade... I scrapbook about everyother day.... it seems to last quite awhile.

Okay, just bought a Cutterpede. I dont care if you have to get a carrier pigeon to deliver the replacement blade. Just get rid of the Fiskars. Seriously.

Ha ha 3reasons! That's cute! Well, I bit the bullet and ordered the cutterpede from Joann's yesterday with two replacement blades. It wasn't a fantastic deal (a small percentage off) but I got free shipping and that's worth it to not have to drive across town! I'm supposed to get it soon - I can't wait!!! I also ordered the MM Philadelphia stamps (I know I'm behind the times) which I cannot wait to use on my son's layouts.
NLVMom, thanks for letting me know how often you change the blade! According to that, I'll be stocked up on blades for a LONG while!!!
