Monthly Shipped Scrapbook Club Question

It is so hot here in Oregon, I can barely type!

Does anyone know of any monthly scrapbook kit clubs that you can join? I would like to join one that send me monthly ideas, paper, supplies, etc.

I tried clubscrap.com and wasn't happy with the quality.

They have kits here at scrapbook.com supertore that can be purchased (as well as many other necessities of life)...we also have a layout gallery where you can get some great ideas from others here in the neighborhood and post some of your work to share w/us...also there are several of us that participate in an RAK swap every month...(that's Random Act of Kindness) ... and w/this swap you can end up with lots of goodies, both homemade and store bought to try out...if you are interested let me know and I will send you the email addy where you can get more information!

wow, you weren't happy with Club Scrap's QUALITY? wow...I can see not being happy with the themes...but it's beautifully crafted stuff. I can't even think of other kits that would be higher quality than that.

There were a few things I had problems with Club Scrap. Please don't take offense with this, it's just my opinion.

1. Everything that was shipped to me smelled like cigarette smoke. I don't smoke and am very sensitive to smell and this was a big deal killer for me. Imagine your scrapbooks smelling like smoke if you don't smoke!

2. When I would use the paper, I couldn't find glue that would stick to it. I had to use glue dots for everything and sometimes that look just isn't what you want. I normally use a liquid acid free glue.

3. The stickers were plain ugly! I hated the stickers. They were cheap looking like they had been printed on a color laser copier.

4. I kept getting the same mfg. samples.

I only participated for 3 months before I cancelled my membership.

Back when scrapbooking first came out, I joined a company that had papers and they shipped a variety to you every month along with the cardstock and sheet protectors. The papers weren't expensive, but they were different. I wish I could find out what company had that club, but I haven't had any luck.

No offense taken. I'm with you on the stickers. But then I think that of ALL stickers. Just don't like em.

Smoke though huh? Wow, never had that problem and I too am super sensitive to that. I would have complained instantly about that one. That's not good at all!

I've been a memeber for a while and need to cancel. I teach at my LSS and try to use only stuff carried there now. And I haven't been as pleased with the themes as I was a year ago.

That other club sounds great. If you find it let me know please! Love different stuff.

There are some stickers on the market, that I think are great! I like Jolene's because they are more than a sticker. I buy them, then don't use them because they are so pretty! Duh! I need to use them!

I also like the laser cut die cuts. I really like Deluxe Cuts.

I also like some others that I am not sure of the names.

The themes weren't too good, but I did like the paper and the color schemes. The stamps weren't too nice either.

If I do find anything else, I will let you know.

your making me glad I didn't join!

May I suggest scrap of the month club? hearign good things about them too..

or SIAS' memories by the month club?

I have not joined any of these at this point, being laid off in less then a month has put a bite in my budget but persoanlly i prefer to pick out my own stuff..

How do I get information about these clubs? They sound what I am looking for!
