Frustration with Cricut Rewards

I am so frustrated with Provo craft right now! They have the rewards program in which you get a certificate in certain carts worth so many points. Once you buy enough carts or certain ones that have a higher point level the points can be redeem for carts or apparel.

On the front page they list all the carts this involves one of which being home accents. I go to enter my certificate and have trouble with it. I then go to faq where they now state Home Accents is not eligible because it was part of a former promotion. Yet it is still listed on the main page as eligible.

Not to mention that the rewards program carts are the carts that come with the machines. I.e. George, plantain schoolbook etc.

I feel their products are not cheap and there is a dedicated following so if you are going to reward your customers then respect them enough to be clear, consistent and have rewards that would feel like true appreciation.

They have so many creative products that I can't believe they couldn't come with a better program than one that appears to be created by the accounting team.

I just got Cricut Sampler from them recently. My mother had been wanting it forever and I finally got enough points that I could get it for her. I thought this was great! That was until I still had to pay $16 for shipping - for one cartridge! It was worth to see my mothers reaction but I thought that was a lot for a single cartridge.

Ouch! Again nice to know. I just bought a cart off of ebay for $17 brand new and the shipping was free!

I had problems with my Home Accents cartridge. Seems there was a problem with the codes. I sent them an email and they sent me a new code. Worth a try.

thanks for the tip but, its on their FAQ page that the Home Accents is not being accepted any more in the program. Fine you can change your program but, at least be consistent and take it off the main page.

I just can't believe you had to pay $16 for shipping! That is outrageous!

I am just disappointed because I love their products but, I don't like to see blatant corporate greed.

I was able to get Don Juan, so I'm OK with the program at the moment. But I do agree that shipping is a lot. And I had never heard of this discontinuing a reward cartridge. I still haven't sent in my serial number for Storybook (no paper cert.). I better get hopping.

I was going to do that for one of mine that I didn't get a paper cert for. So I took off the serial number sticker and placed it on the paper we were told to print and some how I lost it! I think it got thrown away on accident! Sort of sucks now.

They haven't responded to any of my emails in 2 months. I thought you could get reward points for the Solutions cartridges, but I can't find out where to get the codes for those cartridges. I threw away the plastic they come in so I don't have any numbers for them. I have a ton of eligble Solutions cartridges but no way to get credit for them. Arghhh.

They usually want the serial number off the package. I have not bought a solutions one yet, maybe the serial number is on the book somewhere? There is a spot on the rewards area to click if you did not get the paper rewards. It leads you to a form to fill out, print, attach the serial number and mail in.

The Solutions cartridges are different than the regular cartridges. They don't have the peel off serial numbers. I have searched all over the manual and cartridge for them. The cartridge itself only has the identifying number of all the same cartridges. Since they don't have a box to put the serial number on I am stuck and they will not respond.
