Spireli! (sp?)
I was just watching Scrapbook Memories TV and they were using their craft scissors and regular thread to create spireli!
Basically you draw whatever shape you want (triangle, circle, whatever) a bit larger than you want it to be, then you use your zigzag scissors to edge it all the way around. Be careful to hold the pattern cause the valleys of the zigs if what you need. Then just tape a piece of thread end to the center (on the side with the line you drew so its the back) and begin to wrap the thread around the piece. If you want the center to be open, wrap the thread close to where you started, if you want hte design in the center wrap to the far opposite side. can go back and double wrap so its both.
For instructions or a view, visit their website and its episode 604.
I would imagine you could use any craft scissors that have "valleys" which most do in one way or the other.
