Cutters?

I have been thinking about buying the Coluzzle and then I thought maybe the circle cutter. I don't have any templates yet any suggestions on which is best? Most versatile?

I too want to know what the best cutters are. Cutters that come in circles, ovals, and other shapes. I feel the Creative Memories cutters are a bit to akward to use. Please give us your suggestions!

I have the Coluzzle system and I love it. The shapes are really easy to cut out and it gives you a variety of sizes. The Alphas can be a bit harder to cut out but I would not get rid of them for the world. I am really impressed with them. Accucut also has a system which is compatible with the Coluzzle system

I was COMPLETELY frustrated when I first got the Coluzzle and tried to use it. After figuring it out, I love it!

I have a few basic shape stencils and I've bought everything with coupons, so I think it's pretty economical. I justified that it's less than QuicKutz or Sizzix.

If you do get the Coluzzle, either have someone experienced in using it show you, and/or read the many threads here that deal with using it. There are a few "tricks."

Another enthusiastic vote for Coluzzle! Start at first with the simple shapes, straight lines, then to the curves and letters. I love the puzzles (it's great for using lots of pictures in a small space), as well as the letters. Only problems is they don't have the small letters-may eventually get a QuicKutz for that.

Another vote for the Coluzzle - I prefer the CM cutting system for ovals and circles, but the Coluzzle has more versatility in its sizes - and it's easier to pack and less expensive than the CM system.

I bought my Coluzzle, but haven't gotten to play with it yet. I did try one letter, it came out alright . I know what I did wrong. Any one know where I can get templates for it cheap?

I love my Coluzzle. I have all the CM cutting supplies too
but I tend to use my Coluzzle the most

I debated between the Coluzzle and the Fiskars cutting system for a long time. I finally decided to go with the Fiskars. The shape cutter is shaped like a hockey puck & at first I thought it might be ackward to use. After a couple of tries I really liked it. There are many templates to choose from, only 4 letter fonts and they are a little over an inch tall. I have 2 other friends that scrap & they have gone with the Fiskars & love it too!

I got the Coluzzle too.. It takes some practice, but I like what all i can do with it.. squares,circles,oval, tags, alphabets,flowers etc... I purchase alot on ebay..

I have the fiskars and I really like it. My sister purchased one and hates it. She was very upset when she torn a few old pictures, but like any new tool, practice, practice, practice.

I really like the Coluzzle. It took me a while to get the hang of it, but it once you practice it gets easier to use.
