I have a concern about the magnetic magic mat I recently purchased. Tried using the magnetic side for cutting some thin ovals using normal cardstock. When running the sandwich through the machine, it seems the die depressed into the mat making the die difficult to remove. In addition the cut was very uneven causing some areas not cut. After struggling with a number of cuts, I turned the mat over to the regular side. Used the same sandwich and the die cut perfectly each time. Is it possible the magnetic side is too soft? How can this be corrected?
