sizzix (yeah or nay?)

I was just wondering, i have purchased a sizzix sidekick, but I would like to be able to cut more than just paper..(i think).. I was just wondering if I should go to the expense and buy a sizzix?? It is on sale now for $59.98.. Is it worth getting a sizzix?? do you like it?? Do you use it much and what dies do you use the most?? I just dont want to get it if I wont use it too much.. I do like the sidekick.. But want a variety of other dies that the sidekick doesnt have...Thanks

I think it is worth it. I love being able to use paper, cardstock, foam, and material. My kids love making foam shapes for school projects. I bought mine with a 40% off coupon last fall and I have used it alot. I think if I had a bigger scrap area so I could keep it out, I would use it even more.

I just bought a set of alpha bars with my 50% off coupon and I love them. Have already used them for alot of things.

I did because I like to use the embossing folders. I have the cutest bunny that I used at Easter.

I have the regular sizzix and the converter, because it allows me to use all the sizzix dies, sizzlits, and embossing folders. It's just so much more versatile than the sidekick. I use it quite often!

All sizzix items are on sale for 40% off this week at AC Moore. I have the regular sizzix machine and I bought the converter to use sizzlets. It is a little expensive but I definately use it a lot. Plus I don't buy anything for the sizzix unless I have a coupon (usually in AC Moore and Michael's ads every week - 40% or 50% off coupons).

I only have a few dies and 1 alphabet set to go with my machine and can't wait to buy more. I saw a 40% coupon on sizzix.com that I am just going to have to use this weekend!! I really want another alphabet set.

Believe it or not, my cat really likes pop-up sponge, I found some on the sizzix site. I cut it with my sizzix, get it wet to expand it and let it dry out. It is so light and easy for him to grab that he can bat it across the house. Those are his favorite toys.

I have the Zip'eMate die cutting machine by Accucut and I love it!! The main selling point with me was its versatility because it accepts dies from all the leading manufacturers: Accucut, Sizzix, QuicKutz, and it even embosses with brass templates! It has an easy to use crank style handle (similar to a xyron handle) and all the templates I have tried work great! I love the small lightweight QuicKutz dies I have and also the sizzix alphabars and sizzlets alphabets! I am not normally a die cut person, but I have been very pleased with this purchase. HTH!

I love my sizzix & use the alphabet letters the most...It saves on big time on alphabet stickers! My favorite dies are the tags, and plain shapes such as circles, squares, etc...I use basic shapes the most and stay away from baby bottles, lady bugs etc. I mean how many lady bugs are you actually going to use? I use mine to punch metal...make my own metal tags...It punches fabric too!!

How in the world do you get your sizzlets to cut in the Zip'eMate? I have tried EVERYTHING and cannot get them to work! I am so frustrated!! Thanks! Teena

Sizzix will also work with Quickuts & Accucuts dies...

i have the sidekick as all i will ever likely use are the sizzlit alphas. i love it.
