Paper bag book

Does anyone have a tutorial for a small paper bag book? They are so cute! I would love to make one for my little sister.

You might try doing a search in the gallery -- I saw one just the other day and it was really cute.

This is one I did for a friend... I didn't have an exact idea of how it was done... but it turned out pretty cute-- It was more of an expanded card than an album!

Paper Bag Book

I took three paper bags
Cut off the bottoms and stapeled them together on one of the open ends
Sewed the sides together--That left me with slots for my "pages"
Folded a piece of pp and sewed it on as the "binding"

Hi, I just put together my fist paperbag book the other day. Very easy to do. I'm off to go to the store but will post a pic later on tonight for you.

I made a variation using cardboard instead of paper bags-- it is in my gallery. I think the paper bag albums are just adorable, and make quick, easy, relatively inexpensive gifts!

Oh, and I googled "Paper Bag Scrapbook Album" and came up with a ton of different sites with various instructions.

So you to my understanding you fold al least 6 paperbags in half. you can hold punch them to tie the ribbon or staple them. So from then you decorate it.Right or wrong?

I only used 3 in mine. It's in my layout gallery.

very cool ideas out there..here is a simple method: Take some little lunch bags. 3 or 4, I used colored ones.. fold in half. Bind the front edge... I sewed mine on sewing machine.. or use brads or rings... slide tags in openings decorate rest..
