National Scrapbook Day

Ok I know this is a stupid question, but when is National Scrapbook Day? I know it was on May 1st last year. This year my LSS is having a National Scrapbook Day event on April 30. THe calendar on creatingkeepsakes.com has it listed on May 7th. Is it always the same day every year (like May 1st) or is it the first Saturday in May?

I am not sure of the method they use to pick the day but I know this year it is May 7th. I am having a kick off crop for National Scrapbook Day on the 6th.

I'm holding an all day crop at Micheals that day. Hopefully I'll have some interest my crops have been going really well.

I have always taken NSBD to be the first Saturday in May.

I'll be in a graduate class - Yuck!!!!

Trying to figure out what times the virtual crop on here will be - hoping I catch it the later part of the day!

I think it is usually in the beginning of May. My CMC is having hers on 4/30 because that is the only day she could get a hall.

The local group I'm in are celebrating it on the 30th with an all day crop. The next weekend is Mother's Day and it would have been harder to all get together to scrapbook. I'll start the day off by going to the scrapbook expo in Tampa and then go home to scrapbook with the group.

I am going on away from April 29th - May 2th scrapbooking for National Scrapbook Day. I am soooooo excited!!!

Where are you getting to go for National Scrapbook Day? Sounds like fun.
