Hiya... I've made a few of these albums, but I am wondering if there is a pattern,/idea book out there for these? I see alot of different ideas on ebay, etc, and wonder if others are using an idea book.

Not that I know of... I think it is still fairly new being popular.

In my Techniques Class we used 3 paper bags and folded them in half, for binding the book we used ribbons and used spiral rings. They're really easy to make but I still like the 6 X 6 Bazzill albums better.

Are the paper bags safe for your photos to use on a LO or as a mini-album? I'm not completely nuts about always using acid free on my LO, but I do want my pics to last awhile. I've seen some paper bag LOs and albums and thought they were very cute.

I just finished making one, you can check out some of it in the gallery. Maybe it will offer you some ideas.

DeAnn.....I think if you just check out the galleries of different sb wesites like the two p's...you can see others that people have made.

I finished my first paper bag album and sent it to my son. He is in the Air Force and away from home. I made it with pictures of his brother and sister and the theme was missing him. It was very fun to do, and with this size it uses all those scraps I have been saving for 6 years and didn't know what the heck I was going to do with!

NO...the paper bags are not acid free! SO if you DO want the pics to last I would suggest spraying it with a neutralizer!

Are you talking about the photoalbums made from two brown lunch bags?
I just learned to make them on Friday at MOPS. (mothers of preschoolers) Me and my 3 yr old made one together. It was fun. Then I made one each for her teachers. Can you say suck up?
