I just bought a paper glaze made by Aleene's. I found it at A.C. Moore in the scrapbooking section by the glue.

Thanks everyone. I just made some and they look great. I am addicted! I used modge podge over the paper, but the matte kind, not the glossy. It worked really well. Thanks again, Liz

Ha haha I've just been reading all this through and it's finally made sense! In Aussie land, chipboard is wood made from very small chips and pressed together with glue - used in building eg benchtops when you laminate over the top!!!

I thought you scrappers were taking things a little too far!!

so glad to know it was a translation error!!!!!!!

Don't know what to call this stuff here - will have to investigate further!

Cassie....I live in the US and when I sent dh to Home Depot for Chipboard, he called me right away. The guy was trying to sell him an 8-foot sheet of 1/4 inch thick board similar to peg boards. Dh wasn't so sure that would work in my scraobook. : ) If you have cardboard on the back of your notebooks or in between your new set of sheets, that's the same thing as the chipboard for these letters.

I see now that Target is selling sheets of these chipboard letters by Lil Davis Designs. How cool.

SamsMom (Becky) makes her own a lot as well as uses the purchased ones.

Denise- my paper glaze i got is made by Aleene's. I cant remember where i got it but i'm thinking walmart does have it in there craft section.

My dad gave me a whole lot of scraps from coloured mat boards from his picture framing days - I think I'll use these if I can get them to work!

Just got back from CKU and Heidi Swapp has a whole line of chipboard alphas coming out I think around April 15th - they were WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Deb- i saw those on her site they are to cute. she has some other cool things coming out too. i think she has rub-ons coming too if im not mistaking.

The rub ons are hard to use - just an FYI - pretty but hard to get them off the paper onto yours - I think they are trying to redo them but I'd hold off splurging on them right now - all her other stuff is REALLY cool to work with - I got into her secret class and it was my favorite at CKU!!!
