WOW, Laurie! What a wonderful and special gift to make for your friend's daughter's wedding gift! I love all of the special details and bling. They will cherish this forever!
This is a shadowbox I made for my dd friend for a wedding gift. The next photo is with the cover closed, and I attached close-ups of the other embellishments as well.
The upper left hand corner, I used a stencil with home made Gesso type of stuff with Elmer's glue, baking soda, baby powder, red & white paint, and then added a few colors of TH inks.
The Mr.&Mrs. wood chip I got at M's bbs and I used TH inks & rock candy glitter. And the smaller roses I used some stickles around the edges of each rose pedal. They turned out so pretty in person!
The netting is the brides hair piece she wore on her wedding day, the real rose is a dried flower from her special day, and the burlap & lace piece was around the table center pieces.
The mason jar I made to mimic the real glasses they had at their reception, and I found those chalboard stickers and hand wrote what the glasses they gave to their guests said on them.
