I started by using my Hero Arts Nested Circles dies for the easel card base. The shaped circle easel card base was cut with the largest circle hanging slightly off the edge of the card so as to create a nice hinge for the easel card to open and close. Once all of the circles for the card base, the hat brim, layers on the brim, and top of the hat were cut, I used Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive to adhere the top pieces of the card stock to form the hat. Once the hat was complete, I looked through my stash to find a "stopper" sticker to adhere to the inside of the card so that the hat could stand as shown in the pictures. For a final touch, I tied the coral color ribbon around the hat to add a coordinating pop of color to the hat. The coral ribbon is my favorite touch! I'd like to credit one of my favorite YouTubers, #Ann Melvin Positively Papercraft, for the instructions for this project.
