Hi Peas! Welcome to another video of the weekly IN THE MOOD TO SCRAP series! It's a cool idea where a garden girl creates a mood-board and based on it, creates a scrapbook page. I am going to show (and explain) to you how this layout, which is based on pages from two magazines, came together! You'll find a new lesson in this series in the Videos section of Two Peas each Tuesday.Instead of creating a digital moodboard, I decided to keep it simple and get inspired but things around me. I chose two magazines, one for the colors, the other one for the design of my page. Using a magazine as a moodboard is easy as the pages are “pre-designed moodboards” and it saves the time to browse the internet for matching pictures. Here´s a bit about the products I chose: I used the “My Girl” Collection Pack by American Crafts and paper and a card from Pebbles Inc. that fit the color scheme of the My Girl papers. I also used a grab bag from Smash (my first grab bag ever!), wood veneers and spray from Studio Calico, cards from Allison Kreft for Webster´s Pages, a date stamp by Amy Tangerine, a stamp by Evalivious and Heidi Swapp clear pop alphas. The colors of the supplies match the scheme of the magazine I chose. My challenge this week: use a magazine as a moodboard and transfer the design or colors to a scrapbooking page. Every month we will draw a winner from all the MOOD TO SCRAP entries and reward them with a $10 gc. It will be announced on the 2peas blog.
