As you might be able to tell if you look at past layouts, I’m not usually a one-photo-on-a-layout kind of girl, and it’s only recently that I have even done any at all. But in this case, I only had one photo, and it was perfect for the January edition of the “4×6 Photo Love” class taught by Shimelle for Two Peas in a Bucket. One thing I really appreciated about this class was the detailed video Shimelle made to describe the “theory” behind the layout sketch. I also loved that she showed several options for interpreting the sketch. And of course, if you watch the video, you can see where I got the inspiration for my little pleated flower embellishments (which I made myself)!Supplies:patterned paper: My Mind’s Eye Simply Delightful paper padbrown cardstock: Paper Reflectionspaper flowers: Portafoliaborder punch: Fiskars Apron Lacephoto corners: Scrapbook Adhesivesgel pen: GelWriterSilhouette SD (font HoneyScript, welded)buttonsfoam adhesive: Therm O Webhot glue (for making the pleated flowers)Glossy Accents (for adhering the pleated flowers and buttons)
