I was in charge of my daughter's 4th grade class auction basket this year for their biggest fundraiser of the year. I wanted to do a “Julian Family Get Away” theme, which is our little mountain town here in San Diego. They are famous for their apples and that is the big theme up there. I was also able to get a Bed and Breakfast to donate a gift certificate and a yummy restaurant to also donate a gift certificate. I used my new favorite paint, chalkboard paint on some Basic Grey album pages that I have had forever and then I put them on sticks from the yard to make signs. I altered a tin for the gift certificates. I used the Maya Road apple album for the banner and the October Afternoon Label stickers to make a “market” look. TFL.BTW- it was a total success and we made $10 over our estimated value!!
