I was in tears while reading your story which ended up in tears of joy and a sigh of relief at the end of it. Beautiful lay out for a wonderful turn out for Mukluks and your family. God Bless!
OMG I am soooo glad she is ok. What a horrible stressful event for all 3 of you. The love and affection are all very evident in this LO. You did a great job.
Your journaling of the whole experience had me on the edge of my chair. I was so glad to read Blossom has recovered. I did have to laugh at the title. There isn't too many people who know what a mukluk is! It does look like one!
I am so glad she is okay! I remember your layout tribute to your other kitty about the time I made mine for my Woolly...it would have been heartbreaking to lose them both!!! She is precious! Tabbies are the cutest :) I love her little shaved spot! And the title!!
Great layout! Love the giant BG circle/ring, the cat PP, and the way you added such descriptive details of the story. So glad your baby is doing well now! BTW - She reminds me a lot of my kitty Panini!
My poor kitty had to go to the veterinarian for an emergency visit this past August. It was probably even more traumatic for us all (her, my DH and me) because it was only June when we'd lost her best friend to another emergency visit. The vet visit documented on this LO required the shaving of her front legs and her hind quarters (since that was the affected area). Obviously, I only photographed the legs. To me they looked like little kitty mukluks... thus, the title. I think they are so cute. Thankfully, of course Blossom, this kitty, is doing much better now. I have included journaling and showed it in accompanying photos if you want the whole scary but happy ended story.
This LO was inspired by the sketch that can be found at this link: http://itsafamilyaffairwithscrappynana.blogspot.com/2015/05/dream-stuck-sketches-dt-reveal.html
The yellow patterned paper, the green sheet and the brown backing are all from a Deja Views collection called A Cat's Life. The cat pp is the Adorned from the Devoted collection sheet by Authentique. The "Mukluks" letters are cut with a die called Alphabet 1 - Caps by Elizabeth Craft Designs and the "Kitty" was cut with my Silhouette (mostly).
