LOVE this! I really love everything you did here but the fussy cutting of the tea cups stacked combined with the shadowing around them is a very beautiful treatment. Just had a Mad Hatter tea party/BD party for my 12 year old so might have to find some tea cups to do this to. Love the title too and that China in your photo is gorgeous!
Wow! this is phenomenal work! I the dimension you created with the tea cups, it catches the eye. As does your wonderful flower cluster. I think i need a class in it, just like real life flower arranging I am an hopeless case. Yours look wonderful. Beautiful layout!
OMG this is so stunning! The colours are beautiful and the overall page is elegance! The fussy cutting is amazing and just adds so much to the overall effect of this page. You really are a marvel at catching the moment! I love your title - how did you cut it with the cricut? I can't believe how many tiny details there are to look at. This really captures the eye. Amazing work for such and awesome photo.
I love, love, love this page. We always have a tea party at Cousin Camp and those stacked teacups are making me long for that paper. I am totally amazed at the beautiful floral spray through the center. Love the inking on your title. Favorite and pinned.
love the teacups and the title--all the different shades of color; and, of course, your descriptions--always such beautiful use of media. Have been to Parliament and have eaten there, but never tea--sounds wonderful!
Well, my last layouts for September! :-) This is for my memories of our Tea at Parliament - it was lovely, overlooking the river! I think this is one of my favorite layouts every - because of love the colors and the memories!!! I've had this "tea" paper pack for ever (at least 2 years!) and I knew I'd have a page or two to use them with but it just never happened - until now :-) I fussy cut the teacups and a few flowers (on the bottom that you really can't see) and attached them to the page with clear gel medium (decoupaged) then I did shadows around all of the edges of the cups with a couple of my Faber Castell Pens and wiped them off to blend them. I cut my title on my Cricut and colored it with inks and heat embossed it with the Ultra Thick Embossing Powder (interestingly enough it "pushed" the ink to the edges giving me an awesome watercolor affect). I cut the little gold flourishes from gloss paper with dies, along with all of the leaves, which I inked in greens and downs. I used rub on letters for the "tea" words. I added flowers & bling, a tiny gold bumble bee and the cutest little "book" - this side, Pride and Prejudice, that I found in the jewelry section of the store, I used a little twine to braid a little twist on the end.
