I made the flowers by cutting each of the petals out of the PP (patterned paper - I'm learning the lingo!). I then cut the center part out of another piece of PP. Then I took an ink pad and edged all the petals and the center piece, and then I glued them together. After they were put together for some odd reason I felt compelled to hand stitch around each petal. I had seen this technique done a few times and thought it looked cool so I figured I would try it. I used two strands of embroidery floss.
