Wow, you spent a ton of time die cutting! Just a suggestion...when I have trouble getting a die to cut, try placing the die facing up in the machine instead of down. You will need to reverse your sandwich so the cutting plate is on top. I hope this helps.
A friend bought this die set at a sale of used craft supplies. We had a very hard time getting it to die-cut. The bottom layer was easy since it just cut out the backing. I only used that one once since I preferred a wider border. The middle layer was difficult, and we had to run it through the machine many times to get it to cut. The top layer was super difficult. I finally was successful with the Platinum 6, but I had to run the intricate dies back and forth four or five times for the middle layer and even more for the top layer. (After that experience, I bought an electric die-cutting machine. Lol.)
I had fun choosing the colors. I have a lot of cardstock that seldom gets used. Most of my cardstock is Bazzill, Gina K, and Stampin Up!. However, I have cardstock that was given to me, and I dont know what it is.
When I attached the card fronts to the card bases, I was very careful to make sure the design had the curved edges of the shells at the top and the card opened from right to left. When I attached the sentiments, I just forgot to check; several cards opened backwards. Sigh. I had to cut off the card fronts and attach them to new card bases so they now open correctly, but some are what I consider upside down.
All of the sentiments have two layers.
