Give a Cheer
I made this card for a friend who loves Halloween and has her birthday in September while I'm in full on Halloween creating mode! So I created this Halloween inspired cheeky birthday card for her. I silver heat embossed a lovely web background stamp for my base, ink blended with two pink Distress Oxides in the background, layered over some web diecuts which I sprayed with Mica Stains. I diecut the witch and trimmed away the broomstick she was riding and sat her on a mushroom instead! I cut the mushroom base from Concord and 9th Mushroom cardstock. She's holding up her crystal ball, which is an iridescent dew drop embellishment. I used a slimline die to cut the cardbase from Gina K Black Cardstock and I paired it with a pink slimline envelope from Picket Fence Studios. The glittery black web shape was cut from Spellbinders glitter foam and the EEK word die was cut from cardstock that was first covered with Pink Lemonade Stencil Butter. This was such a fun card to create! All the dies and stamps are from Whimsy Stamps.
