This isn't your ordinary ink! The Victorian Velvet Distress Oxides Ink Pad by Tim Holtz for Ranger Ink is a combination of water-reactive dye and pigment ink that creates an oxidized effect when sprayed with water. Included in the package is one 2" x 2" raised ink pad that is made in the USA.
I saw a card using this Victorian Velvet with the Antique linen. So often what we see on the tablet screen is different in real life. Not so with these beautiful colors. That gorgeous dusty pink or Rose is soft and sensational. When paired with the Antique Linen, the Color results are authentic representations of the Victorian era rather than appearing as faded preservations. Beautiful, beautiful colors!
Wonderful quality ink, versatile, great colors. High priced, but when on sale it becomes more obtainable. Note: when these ink pads are on sale the pads are dry, probably why they are on sale. Michael's does the same thing.

Nice shade of muted pink. Perfect for crafting tags and paper clips.
This color is like a mauve in my opinion. It's darker than I thought it would be. I bought it to pair with Tattered Rose & Milled Lavender. They do all go well together. Light, neutral colors.
Some of the older color oxide ink pad have come down in price a bit more. So I was able to get several. I will continue to grow my collection though I hope my, not so subtle, hints to my family will help me get the collection sooner rather than later. Christmas is coming ❤️❤️
This is such a beautiful color. It blends beautifully with other Distress Oxides.
