I used a lovely mix of Spellbinders products to create this sweet Christmas card. I used an older Spellbinders Cardstock that I absolutely adore called Blue Spruce. It's not available any longer, but I've hoarded a bit of it. Such a gorgeous blue green shade. I inked the edges of the green papers with brown distress ink for a grungier finish. I embossed the base layer with a lovely Forevergreen Embossing Folder for a bit of texture and interest. The beautiful gold frame is from the Spellbinders Nested Tree Frame Etched Dies Set by Lisa Horton, as are the stitched frame layers and the wee tree. The simple but sweet sentiment is from the Season of Wonder Sentiments Clear Stamp Set, which I gold heat embossed. I've added a bit of ink behind the wee tree and I've also inked the right hand edge of the tree itself for a bit of shadow play. The base layers of the star and the tree trunk are cut from Spellbinders foam. I layered up the tree with several layers, so the star needed multiple little stars behind it to reach the right height. Such a sweet Christmas design and easy to replicate for a Christmas batch make.
