I found this picture of me and my brother awhile back and decided to use it in a layout! It brings back a lot of memories of when I was growing up. I was and am pretty close to my brother, Robert, as we were the two youngest of our clan! This was the boys' bedroom! Just look at those curtains and the triple bunk bed, for my three brothers!
I made this with Baker's Dozen challenge in mind but have several other challenges in mind! First, I used Webster's Pages for the main page. I then inked the edges of it using Tim Holtz Crushed Olive. All of the rest of the papers were scraps and then cut with TH Stacked Deckle, inked up and then I used one of my old border stamps on the three pieces under the picture. I used a few of Paper Studio diecut ephemera with expressions and inked the edges also. Tim Holtz products (for the challenge) were the quote chips, word plaques, typed tokens and crushed olive distress ink pad. The lemon colored organdy ribbon from my stash. Big Brother sticker was from Me & My Ideas. The three rings at the bottom I've had in my stash for a long time and can't recall where I got them. The wood piece was from my son, Sam, who cut some wood up for something, and gave me the leftover pieces. I love how that looks! The scissors are from Joann's Hildie and Jo. The Love sticker was K and Company Family stickers. The word "pull" on my hidden journaling was scrapbook.com Vintage Lower Type alphabetical stamps. The yellow enamel dots were Pink Fresh Delightful. Twine on the metal pieces was American Crafts. I think that clock was a cutout from Mintay and the metal hands from my stash. I think that about covers it!
