This is my mother's last photo before she passed away last July 4th, almost a year ago.
This is my first "lift" from the book Designing with color by Autumn Leaves. The original is by Lisa Russo (p. 30).
Every paper LO has it's own story behind but this one went too far. Trying (for the first time) to heat emboss the letters, I almost burn the house!!! Our voltage is different from the one you have in the USA so I have to use a converter. As I didn't know how long I had to leave the embossing heat tool on, it just got hot and the converter exploded!!! I think it was a matter of voltage because I didn't use it more than 2 minutes....is that too much?? Well as you can see, the letters doesn't look like embossed and the first "N" couldn't be embossed because at that time the tool was burned too!! What a mess!!!!
The journaling says:
Nenita, we'll always remember you.
