Somehow I missed this stamp set. I can't believe that. Sadly though, I made a die cut version of a gift card holder of a Yukon Cornelius type character anyway for my nephew (who is a young adult). He had no idea who I was referencing. Isn't that sad? Love this! Like the coloring of the gold miner and the snow texture is great.
I colored up a couple of the characters from the Stop Motion Animated movie that was was made into a stamp set by Inkadinkado last year. I fussy cut them out and added a bit of Glossy Accents to Rudolph's nose for shine and some gold Flower Soft to Yukon Cornelius' ear muffs for some textured sparkle.
Then I used a Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillsides Pop Ups die to create the structure for this 3D pop up scene card. To add some more interest and texture I mixed up some white gesso with some over-dried (OLD) DecoArt Snow Tex and was able to revitalize the Snow Tex and add a snowy look to the hills and foreground of the card.
I love interactive and 3D cards and I hope the recipient (who is my hubby's aunt) will get a kick out of the nostalgic characters.
