Since living in the far north of Canada I have been intrigued with the image of the Inukshuk. Inukshuks are made of stone and serve many purposes to the Inuit people who built them.

I have made other cards centred on Inukshuks and for some reason I am always moved to name these, and only these cards. The names from left to right are: Night Shadows; Northern Summer; Velvet Sky; and, Wayfarer.

The strips of colour in the sky represent the Northern lights. I have used embossing, debossing, and gelatos for colouring.
