Wonderful page and great idea for cooking. I have cooked turkey in the crock pot before and loved it. Glad you two enjoyed your meal just the same.

How clever! I have a slow cooker, but would never thought to put my turkey in there to finish cooking! I bet it was nice and moist and tender! This is going to be a tough Christmas for all going on in the world but it is what it is. We are still going to celebrate but so sad for so many. Things are not good in our country, and many of us are truly frightened about what is happening, but we have to put that aside and remember the true meaning of Christmas and count our blessings.

Nice layout! It's great that you could use the slow cooker for your turkey - I use mine more often now than I used to in the past.

I had to do up to the 26th in my December album to finish off the story of Christmas dinner. After the oven element burnt out, I improvised by cooking the turkey in the slowcooker overnight. We enjoyed our full Christmas dinner on the 26th. 2020 was a hard year given what was happening in the world but we managed to find joy and not let the little things intrude on that joy too much over the Christmas season.
