I think that it look fine the way it is. I know how small those slide mounts are. It's pretty easy to overwhelm them. But if you want to try something, then why not try wrapping a bit of fiber or ribbon around the bottom half? Maybe put a tiny tag there too.

this is really cute...how about some fiber or something that looks like water spouting from the whale and then maybe the waves along the bottom....just an idea

This is a rough prototype of a shaker for Preci's zoo swap. I would like to put something around the shaker/on the side to spiff it up a bit (maybe some waves on top?).
