Give a Cheer
I love this set of wooden letters from Carolee's Creations and wanted to team them up with this fabulous witch I purchased on Halloween Eve last year - They are perfect for my entry way for Halloween and PETRIFY my little grandchildren! LOL! I actually put her in a closet when they come over, but they've seen the letters and love them; especially the star on the bell-spider's bottom.
A few details that might be of interest: I added little screw eyelets from the hardware store for the moon (handmade with chipboard and papers), spider (found at a boutique - made from a large bell and smaller bells) and chains (on the "B") for secure hanging. I bent the prongs off We R "Halloween" Designer Gromlets and then gently pounded them flat. I punched a hole in the top (using my Big Bite) and turned them into charms to hang from the side of the "B" with a skeleton key and beads.
I put paper on both side of the letters so I could place them on an island in my kitchen too (viewable from both sides) OR mix and match them (see following images) for variety. This new Cosmo Cricket paper collection has the look and feel of the wallpaper in a well-decorated haunted mansion; not morbid and not cutesy. So fun to work with!!!
