I haven't used Umbrella brand but I use dots all the time. When I use the kind that leave a solid line, I end up with snot like gunks on the applicator and it jams everything up. I used Tom Bow a few years ago —it was my favorite adhesive. I bought a box of maybe 20 refills from the company. My sister and I made 50 cards one day for Festival of Trees. When I got up,the next morning not one card was still taped together. I called the company and all,they did was say they were sorry. I’ll never use that brand again.
