As it turns out, we have not tested the Grand Caliber machine with the Magic Mat as we do not carry the machine. However, the Magic Mat does work with most die cutting machines that have an opening of at least 6 inches.

Hi there. I have a Vagabond2 and use most of Sizzix dies. Since I always choose to use extended cut plates, I got the extended Magic mat for the Vagabond2 use AND the mini Magic Mat for use with my Tim Holtz tiny die cutting machine. I just received my Magic Mats for both machines last night so not yet used BUT cannot see any reason Bigz dies would be excluded from using these mats as, after all they are just cut plates, right? I have ONLY one concern and that is Magic Mats look to be ~half thickness than standard cut plates; not a problem, but clearly it will take some time in finding the right shims to compensate for that difference.
