What are the 6 small dies for? They seem to have a purpose.

The six small dies are to create a decorative reinforcement for the hole you create to make the larger dies into tags.

The small dies are rectangular horizontal or vertical, so how do they protect the tag hole? I saw one Pic that showed putting a piece of ribbon through making it look like a hanging bow. Thanks for your help because I was confused too.

Hello. You can place the tag hole in either orientation - horizontal or vertical. The hole will not be round , it will be elongated in the direction you choose.
